Sing Joyfully Retreat 2019

Join Catholic musicians from Southeastern Ohio for a day of fellowship, learning, and music-making at the 2019 “Sing Joyfully Retreat,” hosted by Beatus Choral Ensemble. Designed specifically for volunteer organists, choir members and parish musicians, the “Sing Joyfully Retreat” will immerse those in attendance in a variety of the Catholic Church's musical treasures. Throughout the day retreatants will be called more deeply into their essential role as music ministers. Hands-on workshops, seminars, and one-on-one instruction in vocal and organ technique will be provided by professionals in the field of sacred music. In addition, Mass, Adoration, and Confession will connect the day to the worship of the universal Church. The retreat will be held at St. Mary’s Mattingly Settlement on the grounds of the beautiful St. Francis Abbey Monastery Sanctuary in Nashport, OH.
